INSTUTECH ("we", "us", "our") provides a school management platform used by schools, their staff, students, and parents/guardians. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected through the platform and how it is used.
Information We CollectSchools that use INSTUTECH may enter information including student names, class and section, attendance records, exam results, fee records, and contact details of students, parents/guardians, and staff. Account information such as name, email or phone number, and login credentials is also collected for authentication purposes.
How Information Is UsedInformation entered into INSTUTECH is used solely to operate the platform's features for the school that entered it, including attendance tracking, fee management, exam results, ID card generation, and communication within the school's account. INSTUTECH does not use this information for advertising and does not sell student, staff, or parent data to any third party.
Who Can Access InformationAccess is controlled through role-based permissions set by each school (owner, main admin, and sub-admin roles). Students and parents/guardians can generally view only information relevant to their own account, as configured by the school.
Where Information Is StoredData is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure (Authentication, Firestore, and Storage), which applies industry-standard security and encryption both in transit and at rest. INSTUTECH does not maintain separate physical servers.
Children's DataBecause INSTUTECH is used in school settings, some information relates to students who are minors. Schools are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental or guardian consent before entering a minor's information into the platform, consistent with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Data Retention and DeletionInformation remains stored for as long as the relevant school account stays active. A school or user may request deletion of specific data by contacting INSTUTECH support at the email address listed in the Contact Us section.
Your RightsUsers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting INSTUTECH support. Requests are handled in coordination with the relevant school administrator where applicable, since schools control the data entered into their own account.
Changes to This PolicyThis Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of the INSTUTECH school management platform by schools, staff, students, and parents/guardians (collectively, "users").
Eligibility and AccountsINSTUTECH is intended for use by educational institutions and their authorized staff, students, and parents/guardians. Schools and individual users are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into their account and for keeping their login credentials confidential.
Acceptable UseUsers agree to use INSTUTECH only for legitimate school administration purposes, including attendance, fee management, exam results, and related school operations. Users agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to them, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
Service AvailabilityINSTUTECH currently operates within free-tier infrastructure limits and is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While reasonable efforts are made to keep the platform accessible, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Data ResponsibilityEach school is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the data it enters into INSTUTECH, including obtaining any consent required from students, parents, or staff before entering their information.
Intellectual PropertyThe INSTUTECH name, design, and underlying software are the property of its developer. Users are granted the right to use the platform for its intended school administration purposes only.
Limitation of LiabilityINSTUTECH is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, INSTUTECH and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
TerminationAccess to INSTUTECH may be suspended or terminated for accounts that violate these Terms of Service or misuse the platform.
Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of India.
